Legal services are provided in the following areas: - Evictions - Fair housing - Security deposits - Issues with the condition of rental properties - Section 8 Voucher terminations - Mortgage foreclosures - Tax foreclosures.

Provides the state's civil rights commission which investigates alleged acts of discrimination in areas of employment, housing, public accommodations and credit based on race, color, age, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry handicap or military; also covers age and marital status in areas of credit; accepts charge affidavits, conducts investigations and makes recommendations to the Commission; it cannot give punitive damages, except in housing cases; cannot provide attorneys; does not represent anyone but the State of Ohio; accepts federal discrimination charges under Title VII, 1964 Civil Rights Act.
