This is not a service of any particular agency. This has been added in order to provide information on how customers may request help from their home medical equipment or home care provider. If a customer is unable to pay for necessary items due to low-income or financial hardship, some medical equipment suppliers provide a process for reducing costs on durable medical items and supplies. This may help with equipment such as: oxygen tanks, wheelchairs, commodes, lifts, hospital beds, medical monitoring equipment, adult diapers, etc. In some cases, the supplier will first attempt to match the client with existing programs or benefits. If the client is already covered by some type of benefit or program, supplier will see if there is a way to have the items covered under the plan. If the client is found to be ineligible for any existing benefits or programs, but meet certain criteria (which varies from company-to-company), all or part of the customer's debt may be forgiven or a lower cost may be negotiated. Does not help with syringes.

Offers respiratory aids and oxygen, aerosol medication supplies and equipment, asthma supplies such as nebulizers, bariatric products, CPAP supplies, bathroom safety devices, batteries, bed accessories, body muscle care equipment, braces and support, daily living aids, diabetic supplies, incontinence supplies, infusion/IV supplies, knee support, mattresses, nutritional supplements, orthopedic supplies, ostomy supplies, pain management supplies, personal care/patient aids, skin care supplies, sleep apnea equipment, surgical supports, toileting equipment, urological supplies, ambulatory equipment, non-ambulatory equipment including lift chairs, and hospital beds.

Provides an emergency diabetes supply assistance for individuals who are diagnosed diabetic. Clients can receive one month's worth of supplies (glucometers, strips, syringes, etc.) one time in a 12 month period. Do not provide insulin.

Provides adaptive and medical equipment for those persons who are disabled and in need. Items available vary, but will generally have walkers, wheelchairs (power and manual), toilet seats, bedside commodes, incontinence supplies (adult diapers, bedding protection, etc.), glucose monitors, crutches, 4-prong canes and bath seats. Items can be borrowed for as long as an individual may need the item. Return of item(s) is encouraged; however, not required.

Provides insulin, syringes, glucometers and test strips for individuals with diabetes.

Patient info is recorded in a computer that assists them with daily monitoring of their vitals (blood pressure, blood oxygen readings, etc.), and transmits the information from the patient's home to nurses off site.

Give Medical Ministry collects and loans medical equipment and supplies, such as blood pressure machines.
