Assists students with obtaining work permits, participates in the federal school lunch program, and provides transportation to and from school to eligible students.

Provides a program designed to help area employers find and train employees and to help unemployed workers find positions and take training seminars to help them with new positions. Seminars cover a variety of topics that meet the needs of local businesses. Also provides job search workshops that include Interviewing Skills, Job Search Techniques, Labor Market Information, Resume Development, and Career Exploration.

Offers training that prepares individuals to take the Ohio state exam to be listed on the Ohio Nurse Aide Registry. The training is 6 or 8 weeks and covers all required curriculum to become a STNA plus additional professional development skills.

Provides aid to families in the form of a voucher to buy items or pay for services that are emergencies and non-recurring and which cannot be addressed using existing community resources. Assistance is provided only for items that are essential for the applicant's employment, job training, or education such as: car repairs, car payments, or car insurance payments; car down payment; work clothing and uniforms; and tools and safety equipment. Also will help pay for professional testing/certification and licensing fees, identification materials (i.e. driver's license, state identification, birth certificates), driver's education, and other items as deemed appropriate by the agency. Transportation to work provided through the most cost effective means. A budget will need to be completed and watching a one hour financial literacy video may be required.

Provide assistance with location of non-custodial parents, paternity establishment, establishment and enforcement of child support orders, establishment and enforcement of medical support orders, review and modification of support orders, request other states to enforce an Ohio order of support for parents who live-out-of-state, collecting and disbursing child support payments, and termination of Support Orders.

Provides 7-week workshops to train and certify participants in the construction trade. Equipment is supplied. Classes are taught in English and Spanish. The workshops are offered three times a year.

Participants may receive information and guidance regarding exploring their career interests, locating job opportunities, preparing a resume, completing job applications, adjusting to new employment, etc.

Offers a program in conjunction with the local building and trades council (union) that features career exploration and hands-on labs along with classroom instruction that integrates basic reading and math with technical knowledge and industry-specific terminology. Service includes visits to apprenticeship training, guest speakers and visits with employers. Class prepares those with no experience in construction to join an apprenticeship program in construction.

Provides individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment the opportunity to reach their highest level of personal potential through education, training, and assistance. Programs include Assessment/Evaluation, Work Adjustment, Job Placement/Training, Job Coaching, Summer Youth Program, Job Retention, and Ongoing Support.

Helps women who are in a life transition prepare for the job market by offering emotional, educational and job search support. Participants receive help with resume preparation, interviewing, information on getting their GED if needed, career search, computer readiness, confidence building and life management. Information about and referrals to appropriate GED, training, college programs and community agencies are also available.

Provides academic and general counseling and other supportive services. Intelligence testing provided when needed. Assists students with applying to and choosing a college and offers some assistance with career planning.
