Provide families with support and guidance to gain or maintain financial independence. Opportunity for you to improve your personal financial situation FSS will put cash into a special savings account.To reward you if you increase earned income and successfully complete the program. As your earned income increases, so does the amount that FSS deposits into the escrow account for you each month. FSS clients have earned upon completion amounts ranging from $500 to $12,000. FSS provides case management support to help participants achieve goals related to employment, education, finances or even home ownership. Your FSS Case Manager will work with you and your family to set short and long-term goals. We will identify together steps to take to achieve those goals. Your Case Manager will provide you with the guidance, resources and support you need to move forward towards self-sufficiency.

Offers a flexible and creative continuum of care to assist in resolving challenges and crises facing youths and their family. Works with the family to do what is best for the child and family as a whole. Program include 24/7 crisis support, intensive home-based services, alcohol and drug services, parent skills training, links to community support services, residential services and other related services.

Southwest Community Based Services | University Settlement

Provides the opportunity to get assistance with issues related to parenting, to apply for needed benefits (including possible help with rent and/or utilities), to participate in a job training program with the goal of employment, and to discuss with a case manager a plan for family success with a professional social worker. Service may include assistance with becoming a foster or adoptive parent. Provides intensive assistance and case management to reunite families who have been seperated and aho have a case with the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS).
