Cuyahoga County Options For Independent Living | Cuyahoga County Division Of Senior And Adult Services

Provides case management and coordination of needed home care services in the following areas: medical transportation, emergency response system, personal care, homemaker services, home delivered meals, and chore services, including laundry service. Services can be requested individually or combined. Can provide limited home bathroom modifications for safety. Does not include skilled nursing services. When program is full, assists those on waiting list to find needed services in the community. Chore services and limited bathroom modifications cannot be assessed without using other services.

Home Based Primary Care Program / Home And Community Based Services | United States Department Of Veterans Affairs

Offers home based primary care and nursing services to eligible veterans. Also provides Homemakers and/or Home Health Aide who are trained persons who can come to a Veteran's home and help the Veteran take care of themselves and their daily activities. Homemakers and Home Health Aides are not nurses, but they are supervised by a registered nurse who will help assess the Veteran's daily living needs.

Will also pack, unpack, and organize home during a move. Will not clean outdoor windows requiring the use of a ladder or perform full carpet cleaning.

Homemaker Assistance | Washington-Morgan Community Action

Program provides in-home services to senior citizens in Washington County. Services are available to eligible clients who are at-risk of premature placement in a nursing home due to a medical, emotional or psychological impairment. Clients of the Homemaker program must be 60 years of age or older and homebound. The homemaker will spend about an hour and a half each week performing needed tasks such as dusting, vacuuming or laundry.
