The Dayton Art Institute volunteers are committed to enriching the community by creating meaningful experiences with art that are available to all.

USS recruits volunteers of all ages for special projects and ongoing responsibilities at our centers and with our clients. RSVP recruits those who are retired and/or senior citizens for volunteer opportunities and places them in non-profit organizations and community projects around Clark County. Individuals are placed in areas that are of interest to them and enhance their special skills.

Acts as a clearing house by seeking and referring direct service volunteers to serve in various capacities for nonprofit agencies. Maintains a database that lists services needed and matches those needed services to individual wanting to volunteer. Individual volunteers are able to contact agencies needing service independently/directly.

Recruits and coordinates the placement of volunteers who are 55 or older into various organizations around Ohio. Includes health care facilities, schools, community and youth centers, non-profit agencies, and government agencies.

Recruits and places volunteers to go to developing countries to contribute their skills to help fulfill the basic human needs of people in those countries.

Provides volunteers for short-term community service projects such as one-day festivals, fairs, races and holiday-related ventures. Volunteers perform duties such as produce and gift distribution, registration and information booths, ushers, ticket takers and refreshments servers.

Provides volunteer opportunities for youth and adults in Greene, Montgomery and Preble counties.

Provides health care services, specialists, physicians, preventative medicine, programs and education to the surrounding community. Wood County provides care to those who have acute, life-threatening injuries or severe illnesses and also provide drug and alcohol abuse withdrawal treatment.

Provides wide range volunteer opportunities including: blood donor ambassadors, disaster assistance, contacting military personnel and their families, blood delivery to hospitals, smoke alarm installations, and more.

Provides referrals to places that offer volunteer opportunities within Geauga County. Opportunities range from short to long-term situations to youth or court-ordered opportunities. A 2-1-1 Resource Navigator will search the 2-1-1 database to find volunteer opportunities that meet the client's interests, needs, and eligibility. Does not offer screening or conduct interviews.

Helps adults with disabilities to explore and connect with their community, develop social skills, and enhance personal abilities through volunteer experiences.

Provides opportunities for older adults to volunteer with local nonprofit organizations, public agencies, and faith-based organizations. Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) volunteers receive no stipend for their work but may be reimbursed for meals and transportation. RSVP is part of AmeriCorps Seniors.

Provides volunteer opportunities to the diverse communities.

Provides older adults an opportunity to give of their time, talents, and life experiences to help those in need through volunteering. Ongoing opportunities meet critical community needs such as homelessness; workforce development; food security; health care access and others. Both long and short-term volunteer assignments available including one-day service projects.

Volunteers link with local neighbors in need, and can select volunteer tasks or projects that fit their skill set, from the online project board. Provides a local office for a national program for older adults that matches volunteers with organizations where their time, interest, talents, knowledge, and experience are most effectively utilized to meet important needs in communities. Volunteers choose how, where, and when they want to serve, with commitments ranging from one-time events, up to a few hours a week/month, or as often as they wish throughout the year.
