Provides diagnostic psychological assessment at the request of either Franklin County Children Services or Franklin County Juvenile Court.

Mental illness is a complex group of conditions that affect a person’s mood, thinking, and behavior. In our outpatient programs, we treat the following illnesses: Depression Anxiety PTSD Bipolar Disorder Borderline Personality Disorder Our program begins with a mental and physical health assessment. Based on your assessment and your needs, our team will recommend a treatment plan that typically includes a combination of talk therapy, holistic therapies, peer-to-peer support groups, and medication management. Dual Diagnosis for Co-Occurring Disorders Sometimes people with mental health issues are also struggling with substance abuse. Together, we’ll develop a treatment plan that addresses your needs and all of your symptoms. What Does Help Look Like We offer a wide range of therapy, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness training, family education and counseling, and fitness and wellness education. When you’re in outpatient mental health treatment, whether you are stepping down from inpatient care or beginning treatment as an outpatient, your plan will include one of two programs. Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) For people who need to maintain a work, home, or school schedule, our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) offers comprehensive outpatient services in a day or evening format. Typically, this program lasts two to four weeks and meets five to six days a week. You’ll participate in several sessions each day, including individual, group, and family therapy. You’ll also have opportunities to enjoy our beautiful grounds and take part in holistic activities like yoga, music, and art. Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Your treatment plan may include our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), which meets three to five days a week for a minimum of nine hours per week. This program offers group and family therapy, as well as medication management, skill development, and long-term recovery planning. Before you complete the program, we’ll make sure that any ongoing treatment you need is aligned with your aftercare provider. Some of the discussion areas for outpatient mental health treatment include triggers and warning signs, self-identity and self-esteem, coping skills, relapse stages and prevention, and understanding emotions and moods.

Provides psychiatry services to include psychiatric evaluations, medication management and collaboration with primary care physicians regarding psychiatric medications.

Provides mental health and substance use disorder assessments.

Offers an in-home or in-office mental health assessment that reviews an individual's mental health history, education, and skill levels to provide a baseline for treatment.

Offers a variety of behavioral health services to address the needs of children, adolescents and their families. Services include child and adolescent psychiatry, counseling, developmental behavioral pediatrics, psychology, ADHD, feeding disorders and cerebral palsy treatment.

Offers child, adolescent, family, and couples counseling; psychological testing for youth and adults, who are ongoing clients; and psychiatric services for ongoing clients.

Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital

Offers mental health services for veterans. Provides psychological assessments and counseling services. Provides treatment for a wide range of psychological issues including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, memory problems and aggressive or self-harming behaviors.

Offers a variety of behavioral health services to address the needs of children, adolescents and their families. Services include child and adolescent psychiatry, counseling, developmental behavioral pediatrics, psychology, ADHD, feeding disorders and cerebral palsy treatment.

Provides a mental health diagnostic assessment and/or substance use disorder assessment to determine the issues or problems facing the client and to aid in determining the course of treatment.

Treatment is designed for adults presenting with acute or chronic mood disturbance and/or other mental health symptoms.

Offers comprehensive behavioral healthcare services and programs for children and adolescents, adults and older adults in central Ohio. Focus areas include anxiety and panic attacks, depression, post-traumatic disorders, family and marital conduct, personality disorders, schizophrenia and sexual abuse. Offers outpatient treatment and a partial hospitalization program, an intensive, therapeutic treatment experience for individuals who require more than the conventional outpatient level of care but do not need the security of a locked unit or 24 hour care.

Provides individual and family therapy to youth and adults. Services are provided by second and third year graduate students in clinical psychology working under the supervision of clinical faculty members. Note: Medication is not available through the clinic.

Offers in-office and home-based programs that specialize in the treatment of youth ages 4 to 18 who have adjustment problems, behavior problems, emotional disturbance, substance abuse issues or incipient mental illness.

Provides cognitive-behavioral psychological treatment for adults in the greater Columbus area. Services include psychotherapy for anxiety and stress, depression, personality disorders and other forms of psychological distress.

Performs assessments and counseling in order to minimize oppositional defiant and disruptive behavior of clients that affect their daily functioning. Goals aim to reduce or prevent involvement with the criminal and juvenile justice systems and psychiatric hospitalization. Minimizes the amount of time spent in out-of-home placement and disruptions in school. Assist clients in the stabilization of their mental diagnoses. All services are home based.
