outpatient program helps you gain insight and develop recovery skills. Some people enter the outpatient program when they first come to The Emily Program, while others need residential or partial hospitalization/intensive outpatient treatment first and then step down into outpatient. In addition to the recovery work you’ll be doing, you can continue or re-establish everyday activities like work or school. SB-IOP The Skills-Based Intensive Outpatient Program meets for 12 hours per week during four days for 8 weeks. This program is specifically to help you develop skills to regulate emotions along with balancing eating patterns. MAP M’s Aftercare Program is for individuals who have completed M’s Place and are ready to transition to an IOP level of care. This program enables clients to continue to master important skills for recovery within the familiarity of their previous program.

Just as CPR helps you assist an individual having a heart attack, Mental Health First Aid helps you assist someone experiencing a mental health or substance use-related crisis. In the Mental Health First Aid course, you learn risk factors and warning signs for mental health and addiction concerns, strategies for how to help someone in both crisis and non-crisis situations, and where to turn for help.
