The Licking County Wellness Coalition and Tobacco Use Reduction Network (TURN) work toward system and policy changes to reduce tobacco use. • LCHD works with Our Futures Licking County to conduct "Reward and Reminder" tobacco sales compliance checks at tobacco retailers. • Our health educators work with schools to adopt 100% Tobacco-Free School policies. • We promote smoke-free multi-unit housing policies in apartment buildings. • Tobacco-Free Worksite Campus policies improve employee wellness and visitor comfort. • Kickin' Ash Splash Pool Party, and annual tobacco, drug, and alcohol-free event for the whole family hosted at the Heath City Water Park. Provides information about smoking, vaping, and nicotine addiction, the dangers associated with smoking or utilizing other substances containing nicotine, the risks associated with exposure to secondhand smoke, and different approaches to smoking cessation with the objective of preventing people from starting to smoke or of helping them find a way to give up the habit if they already use tobacco products.

Provides a variety of education programs through public and parochial schools; programs include special education, tobacco, drug and alcohol prevention, before and after school and summer enrichment and extended learning, youth employment services, and preschool services.

Catch my Breath is a youth E-cigarette and JUUL prevention program that equips students with knowledge and skills to make informed decisions about the use of E-cigarettes.

Program helps smokers improve overall health, reduce the smell of smoke on clothes, hair, breath, car and home, doing simple tasks without running out of breath, having fewer facial wrinkles, saving money, increasing life expectancy to be around longer for family and friends, and being in control of your life. Offers 4 to 8 weeks of tobacco cessation counseling with nicotine replacement products.

Provides after-school and summer programs for English Language Learners with homework tutoring; arts and crafts; outdoor activities; ESL classes; and tobacco, drug and alcohol prevention education. Summer program helps participants work on academic issues. Program is designed with culturally relevant references for participants. Program is limited to 80 participants.

Community Mercy Reach extends quality compassionate care to adults and youth who face on the today's most pervasive problems, chemical dependency. Offers assessment linked to inpatient detoxification. After a scheduled assessment may be admitted to the detox program at SRMC. REACH's certified chemical dependency counselors specialize in outpatient treatment and intervention to help free adults and adolescents from addiction to drugs and alcohol. Treatment is provided through individual group and family Counseling. Smoking Cessation program as well
