Assesses the situation over the phone, immediately, and responds to emergency room or hospital if it is decided that client needs immediate emergency services. - Offers emergency consultations for any significant person in client's life. Assesses the problem and accesses appropriate services such as hospitalization, crisis intervention, and counseling. Note: Services not available in the home.
