The Dayton Art Institute volunteers are committed to enriching the community by creating meaningful experiences with art that are available to all.

Museum has animal exhibits indoors and outdoors, and displays about natural history and space science. Exhibits serve as a portal to the outside experience, engaging visitors by exposing them to rarely seen wildlife and providing knowledge to both encourage further exploration and to inform outdoor discoveries.

Provides a world-class museum that collects, preserves, exhibits and interprets the history and significance of rock and roll music to individuals through its library and archives. Bear's Mill, built in 1849, is one of the few operating water-powered mills in Ohio. The mill is a rare historic landmark and grain is still ground into flours and meals today. Tours and special events are offered on the mill property year-round.

Ashtabula Maritime and Surface Transportation Museum overlooks the Ashtabula River, Lake Erie and the working harbor. Museum is housed in the foamer residence of lighthouse keepers and the Coast Guard Chief. They have seven rooms and an authentic pilot house from the Thomas Walters.

Provides educational programs for youth and adults through a Museum Community Center and Gift Shop. Memberships are available.

Acquires, protects, and maintains objects that have significant historical, archeological, and cultural meaning to Greene County. Three floors of handicapped-accessible exhibits at the Brantley Carriage House Museum, the authentically restored Victorian Town House, and the historically significant Galloway Log House tell the Greene County story from prehistoric hunters to Tecumseh to Norman Vincent Peale.

Enjoy science and space full-dome films and live planetarium shows in the state-of-the-art SciDome. Visitors will be able to enjoy live planetarium shows and full-dome production films. Live shows will showcase the wonder of stars, constellations and nebulae; planets and our solar system; the life cycle of stars; and a rotating selection of astronomy and space science mini-experiences. Full-dome production shows will feature explorations of humankind from ancient Mesopotamia to modern space exploration; the science of lightspeed; the Earth, moon and sun; and travel through our universe, galaxy and solar system in search of liquid water.

Provides model trains and railroad artifacts on display; a restored and running engine is available for train rides and a meeting room is available to rent.
