The office performs internal audits of the various city departments to assure that proper accounting procedures are being followed.

Administers and maintains voter registration information. Conducts elections and administers absentee voting, stores results of elections (current and past), and files campaign finance reports. Responsible for the accurate recording of all financial transactions for the city including monitoring of all assets and liabilities, keeping accurate accounting of all tax revenues and assessments, collecting all monies, payroll and benefits administration and authorization of all City purchasing functions.

Records and maintains documents pertaining to land in Darke County, such as deeds for properties, easements, liens, durable power of attorneys, and DD-214 discharge papers for veterans. Note: Land record documents from May 1996 to the present are available online.

Provides county real estate property records, and an array of services such as real estate valuation, property transfers, weights and measures compliance, homestead exemption, rental registration, CAUV, dog licensing services, and manufactured homes registration to taxpayers, consumers, school districts and local governments. Also, the auditor's office maintains land records, parcel and tract information, and history of ownership records for Hamilton County.

Serves as the principal executive officer of Cuyahoga Falls. Appoints members of most city boards and commissions. Advises council on financial conditions and needs of the city. Introduces ordinances to council and approves/disapproves ordinances passed by Council.

Provides voting services for residents of Holmes County.

Oversees the operations of the various agencies and offices in Darke County that fall under their jurisdiction. Provides general oversight of those entities in order to ensure the public's well-being and quality of life. Acts as the legislative and executive body for county government with taxing, budgeting, appropriating and purchasing authority. Holds title to all county property. Other responsibilities include hearing and ruling on annexations, establishing water and sewer districts, serving on the board of revision, records commission, and the planning commission, as well as appointing all department heads of offices under the Board of County Commissioners.

Board of Elections provides services for the county including Election Results, Precinct and Polling Locations, Voter Registration and Information, and Absentee Voting.
