Drug Take Back Day - Athens County | National Prescription Drug Take Back Day
Take-Back Days: These occur twice a year and locations are offered in Athens and surrounding communities. Enables the safe disposal of unwanted and expired prescription and over the counter medications.
Pills should be removed from bottles and placed in baggies. This is a great opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft.
*Acceptable items for disposal are:

Leaf Pick Up | City Of Dayton Public Works Waste Collection Waste Collection
Offers annual leaf collection service between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. through December 12. Residents will have two opportunities to have their fallen leaves cleared by city workers. All residents should rake leaves to the gutter at the curbline in front of residences prior to the Monday of your scheduled collection week before 7:00 a.m. Leaf collection is provided at the street only. Leaves should be loose in order for leaf collection equipment to operate properly. Leaves may be bagged for pickup and placed at the curb or edge of the street anytime before scheduled collection.

Where possible, will give the property owner advice on what is needed to remedy the problem. Takes complaints and reports from consumers concerning water and sewage service and will answer questions about billing. Prepares annual drinking water quality reports, and responds to inquiries about water pollutants. Reads water meters monthly.
