Medication Disposal | Summit County Clerk Of Courts

Provides pouches to be used for the safe disposal of outdated and unwanted medications. The pouches deactivate drugs and render the chemical compounds safe for landfills. Each bag can be used to dispose of 45 pills, 6 (six) ounces of liquid medication, or 6 (six) medicine patches. - The bags are provided by the Summit County Community Partnership for the Deterra Project.

DisposeRX, is meant to be used by customers who no longer need their prescription painkillers or are concerned that someone else might take their pills. When mixed with warm water and prescription medication in a pill bottle, DisposeRX creates a solid that can then be thrown out safely in the trash, without the risk of contaminating groundwater.

Drug Take Back Day - Wyandot County | National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

Take-Back Days: These occur twice a year and locations are offered in Marion and surrounding communities. Enables the safe disposal of unwanted and expired prescription and over the counter medications. Pills should be removed from bottles and placed in baggies. This is a great opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft. *Acceptable items for disposal are: Prescription drugs, Over-the-counter medications , Pet medications, Vitamins , Ointments, creams or lotions , Liquid medications, cough syrups . *Items NOT accepted include: Liquids, injectables and inhalers.
