Will help the client with understanding, filling out, and submitting forms/applications, gathering documents, and making appointments as needed. In some cases, bus tickets may be provided to clients to help them get to appointments.

Promotes independence for refugees by helping them to open and contribute to individual development accounts (IDAs) for specified asset goals, including homeownership, business capitalization, vehicles for educational or work purposes, professional certification, and post-secondary education tuition and fees.

Provides outpatient counseling, home based counseling, and case management services specifically geared towards working with the refugee population in Summit County. School-based groups are available in certain school districts.

Offers assistance to refugees and immigrants as they adjust to their new home and community. Provides English language classes to immigrants whose first language is not English. Childcare may be provided during classes. Also provides citizenship assistance to prepare individuals for the US Citizenship exam. Resume building and job search assistance are offered as well.

Services provided include housing services, employment services, access to healthcare, school enrollment, direct client financial assistance as applicable and referrals to other long-term assistance programs within the county and agency.

Seeks to integrate refugees into American society economically and socially, while helping to maintain cultural heritage. Offers a variety of services including Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA), Refugee Medical Assistance (RMA) and Refugee Social Services program (RSSP). RCA and RMA are limited to the first 8 months from the date that the refugee enters the United States. Social services for refugees are available to a refugee for the first 5 years after arrival in the United States.

Provides multiple services to help integrate immigrants and refugees into society by assisting them with job search, interview prep, resume writing assistance, and more.

Provides a variety of training programs, from begining to advanced sewing and entrepreneurship, designed to train individuals for career level jobs in sewing. Program uses only organic cotton fabric and provides all materials. Participants are trained to use industrial sewing machines and learn principals of garment construction. Eligible students are paid a stipend during trainng and receive a new sewing machine upon completion of the program.
