These meetings will address these groups' unique challenges in accessing mental health services and provide valuable information and resources to overcome these barriers. Offers an academic enrichment and social responsibility program for youth to participate in projects that are led by mentors and are designed to teach life skills, promote self-discipline, self-respect, and personal responsibility, and provide educational experiences and exposure to different careers. May offer counseling and tutoring as part of this program. Parents are encouraged to participate.

Provides help for those starting or wanting advice on the development of their small business. Program has two tracks: one provides a comprehensive series of classes that explores and educates participants on all aspects of starting their own business. The second track provides direct help in evaluating and expanding businesses already in existence.

Provides college students with programs designed to equip them with skills, practical work experience and insights necessary to become successful in business, technical and/or allied health careers. Services include mentoring and leadership development activities. The goal is placement in a job following graduation, preferably with the sponsoring business. Also provides a support group for the parents of participants, who meet to assist the development of their children, to further their own professional development, and to plan fundraising activities. There is also an active alumni group.

The mission of AALI (African American Leadership Initiative) is to identify and cultivate African American leaders in Mansfield and Richland County. AALI functions to create a network of diverse leaders with relevant opportunities to connect and contribute. AALI Social is a monthly gathering for the purpose of networking and establishing connections.

Provides screening, education, and treatment for a variety of diseases that affect more men of certain races and ethnicities than their races or ethnicities appear in the population. Typical screenings include prostate cancer, high cholesterol, diabetes, high blood pressure, sickle cell anemia, and testicular cancer.

Provides a substance abuse prevention program that incorporates arts activities to reduce risk-taking behaviors of African American teenaged girls.

Offers a prenatal support program for low-income pregnant women. Provides in home case management services through Community Health Workers (CHW) who make regular home visits throughout the duration of the pregnancy and until the child turns three (3) years old. In addition, offers support, education, and resources via a telehealth option.

Provides opportunities for older adults to give support and care to children who have special needs in school and daycare settings. Participants receive a small stipend, an annual physical examination, accident and liability insurance and meals during service hours.

Provides culturally appropriate mental health counseling for a variety of conditions, including bereavement, mood disorders in pregnancy and postpartum, relationship work, teen parenting, and general counseling to adjust to life transitions.
