Winter Crisis/Emergency Home Energy Assistance Program (E-HEAP/EHEAP) | Harcatus Tri-County Community Action Organization

Provides financial assistance to reconnect or maintain home heating services for eligible households once per heating season. Generally assists with a payment up to: - $175 for PUCO regulated companies. - $750 for non-PUCO regulated utilities (such as a municipal utility). - $1,200 for those who use bulk fuel (oil, propane, kerosene, or bottled gas). - $650 for coal, wood or solid fuels. - $500 in heating unit repairs or replacements. - Scheduling an appointment automatically places a 1-time hold on disconnection for REGULATED utilities until after the scheduled appointment date (unless a previous hold was placed on the customer's account). Customers are only allowed one (1) disconnection hold for an assistance appointment per Winter Crisis Program (WCP) season. - Rescheduling removes the hold and possibly triggers loss of service.

Emergency Heap - Winter Crisis Program | Community Action Commission Of Erie, Huron, And Richland Counties

Provides payment aid once per heating season to consumers who have been disconnected or received a shut-off notice, or service that needs started, or have 25% or less supply of bulk fuel (fuel oil or propane). To receive assistance, households served by a state-regulated utility must also sign up for a payment plan, such as the Percentage of Income Utility Plan (PIPP). Program can also pay for furnace repair and space heaters. Can also pay for furnace repair and space heaters through this program.

Offers a discount home improvement store that accepts and re-sells new and reusable home improvement building materials and used appliances. The store is open to the public and revenue from sales directly offsets the administrative costs of Habitat for Humanity-Southeast Ohio. Habitat’s ReStore supports the mission of eliminating substandard housing and creating homeownership. Individuals, stores, businesses, general contractors, home remodeling contractors, and others regularly donate new and reusable materials from home remodeling projects, new overstock inventory, samples, scratch and dent items, and much more. We also remove and salvage materials from buildings being demolished. These materials are sold to the public at approximately 50% off retail prices.

St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store “Voucher” Policy Project Woman, Shelter Inc., and McKinley Hall People in residential care with Project Woman, Shelter Inc., and McKinley Hall coming to St. Vincent de Paul for additional assistance can receive help with: *Free Clothing Vouchers- This manner of assistance is available every 90 days to people with proof of identification and proof of Clark County residency. Separate photo for everyone over 18 getting clothing are required. Children under 18 MUST also have some legitimate form of I.D. (I.e. birth certificate, state I.D., driver’s license, social security card as additional I.D.). Anyone over 18 MUST apply independently. On Tues.,Weds.,& Thurs. 10:00-3:00, the Free clothing available is located in a specified .49 clothing rack area, marked with black tags. Exception: Free Underwear, shoes, and children’s clothing are found all over the store. All other clothing items are priced TO SELL in order to make monies for our Food Pantry. Applicants are eligible for free clothing every 90 days, not sooner. This application/information electronically recorded on ServeWare. Clothing Items EACH APPLICANT MAY HAVE included are: 1 pair of pajamas, 3 shirts or sweaters, 3 pants or dresses, 3 undergarments, 3 pair of socks, 1 pair of shoes, 1 coat or jacket *Free Household Items Vouchers- These items are provided based on availability, as we never know what we will get donated in the way of household merchandise. Home Weatherization Assistance Program (HWAP) | Community Action Council Of Portage County

Provides assistance to increase the energy efficiency of homes and reduce household energy expenditures. Services include: safety inspection of gas appliances, carbon monoxide alarms, education on energy saving, insulation, as well as inspection, repair, and possible replacement of furnace and hot water tank (if warranted), and customer education. Services provided through contracted agencies. Service provided depends on the assessment of the property.

Electric Water Heater Rebate | Darke Rural Electric Cooperative, Inc

Provides a rebate of up to $250 toward the installation of a new electric water heater in a home, office or other building which uses electricity from Darke Rural Electric Cooperative. A $250 rebate will be paid to the member on the basis of one rebate for each qualified unit installed that has a load management switch installed for Buckeye direct load management efforts. If there is an existing switch, a rebate of $200 will be paid to the member for the installation of a new water heater.

Home Weatherization Assistance Program (HWAP) | Jefferson County Community Action Council

Insulates attics, blows cellulose into side walls, caulks windows and doors, and takes any other practical measures to minimize or stop cold air infiltration.
