The purpose is to restore the offending youth to community living and reduce juvenile offenses through supervision, support and alternative consequences to offenders who have been adjudicated or found unruly/delinquent.

Provides parole supervision for youth who have been released from department facility. Services include enforcing rules of parole, involvement of youth in activities that create an awareness of the consequences of their behavior, developing competency in youth that enable them to be more capable of productive participation in society, and monitoring graduated sanctions if parole is violated.

Provides an intense and structured level of judicial supervision, treatment, and case management services to adult offenders who possess previous or current military service.

Oversees all persons placed on probation as the result of criminal and/or traffic convictions. Defendants may also be evaluated for the Court's Specialized Docket Recovery Court.

Serves as a community-based program that provides educational services or other prescribed social services for adults who have been arrested for underage drinking. Successful completion of the program generally prevents fines, court costs, jail time, and a permanent criminal record of the offense.

Provides outpatient treatment support services for the Cleveland Drug Court docket. First-time felony level offenders who are arrested for possession or drug abuse (but not selling) can plead guilty to a misdemeanor. But in doing so, they agree to enter this program. Upon successful completion of the program, their criminal record will be expunged.

Provides supportive services for individuals younger than age 18 who have committed a minor offense and are directed to participate in a diversion program as an alternative to arrest, prosecution or, in some cases, sentencing for the offense. Assesses the individual's needs and coordinates the delivery of the necessary services.

Within the juvenile court system, TASC monitors adjudicated children ages 12 to 18 years old for alcohol/drug abuse. Workers establish case management plans for youth, ensure they go to mandated counseling sessions, and attend school. The TASC program lasts a minimum of six months and can continue until such time as the youth leaves the juvenile court system. Also, agency is a certified outpatient treatment agency, providing adolescent drug and alcohol services.

Provides a structured living environment for offenders with severe mental disabilities. Mental health services are provided by Portage Path Behavioral Mental Health Center or Community Support Services.

Partners with businesses to develop customized programs to meet their employee's needs including drug and alcohol testing, employee assistance programs, training and team building, drug-free workplace training/development, immunizations, counseling, BWC training and more. Companies can choose individual services or allow WorkLife to develop a customized solution to address a broad range of workplace wellness issues.

Accept estate donations and vehicle or property donations.

Works to positively impact the community by making it safer and changing the lives of those individuals placed under its supervision. Works with the community so each individual successfully: - Meets his or her conditions of supervision. - Is held accountable for any program violations. - Makes restoration to the community and victims. - Fully participates in all programs and services to positively change his or her life and to become a law abiding citizen.

Provides probation for youth who are found to be delinquent but are not placed in a residential facility. Offers probationers case management and referrals to needed supportive services such as drug treatment and mental health services. Makes investigations in order to prepare dispositional reports. Arranges for community service when mandated by the court.

Responsible for the release and supervision of adult felony inmates returning to local communities from prison, as well as assisting Courts of Common Pleas with sentencing and supervision duties for felony offenders. It is comprised of the Parole Board and Field Services. The Authority maintains regional offices in Akron, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, and Lima.

Supervises youth on parole in the northern half of the state. Juvenile Parole Officers (JPOs) and other parole staff work with youth and their families to provide the guidance necessary for youth to become positive, contributing members of society.

Provides youth who are adjudicated and placed on probation, assignment to a Probation Officer, who is responsible for enforcing the order of the Court. With the assistance of the child's family, teachers/school officials, and appropriate community service providers, individuals probation plans are developed, implemented and monitored.

Provides an alternative sentencing option for offenders that requires them to wear an electronic monitoring device and restricts them to their homes. Some instances like work, church, or medical care, may allow them to leave for short periods of time.

Provides an opportunity for the offender to give back to the community, learn new skills, meet new people, and learn teamwork by working for agencies throughout Richland County. The offender's charges, skills, geographic location and work schedule are taken into consideration when he/she meets with the Social Service Liaison to be placed at a non-profit or government agency for community work service. Offenders are required to follow specific rules and regulations outlined in the assignment packet. The Social Service Liaison, along with the offender's supervision officer, will monitor an offender's compliance through regular contact with the placement agency. These contacts will include face-to-face visits with the offender at the work site.

Provides formal supervision and support for adults who have been convicted of an offense and released into the community under the supervision of a probation officer, usually in lieu of incarceration.
