The offender's charges, skills, geographic location and work schedule are taken into consideration when he/she meets with the Social Service Liaison to be placed at a non-profit or government agency for community work service. Offenders are required to follow specific rules and regulations outlined in the assignment packet. The Social Service Liaison, along with the offender's supervision officer, will monitor an offender's compliance through regular contact with the placement agency. These contacts will include face-to-face visits with the offender at the work site.

Handles cases dealing with juvenile offenses related to drugs or drug use. Provides assessment and possibly treatment. Case managers work with the individual, school, home, and treatment provider. Open hearings are held weekly to assess individual cases and hearings become less frequent with compliance to the program's rules. Program is designed to keep someone in a crisis from escalating into a possible arrest and possible involvement of the justice system. Staff work with the individual to stabilize the symptoms and connect or reconnect to ongoing care. Detoxification from drugs is offered if needed.
