Within the juvenile court system, TASC monitors adjudicated children ages 12 to 18 years old for alcohol/drug abuse. Workers establish case management plans for youth, ensure they go to mandated counseling sessions, and attend school. The TASC program lasts a minimum of six months and can continue until such time as the youth leaves the juvenile court system. Community Work Service Program | Richland County Court Of Common Pleas

Provides an opportunity for the offender to give back to the community, learn new skills, meet new people, and learn teamwork by working for agencies throughout Richland County. The offender's charges, skills, geographic location and work schedule are taken into consideration when he/she meets with the Social Service Liaison to be placed at a non-profit or government agency for community work service. Offenders are required to follow specific rules and regulations outlined in the assignment packet. The Social Service Liaison, along with the offender's supervision officer, will monitor an offender's compliance through regular contact with the placement agency. These contacts will include face-to-face visits with the offender at the work site.
