Provides the state's official resource to help consumers, mental health advocates, behavioral health providers, employers, first responders and other stakeholders understand and navigate mental health and substance use disorder insurance so Ohioans get access to the treatment they need. We are an office of the Ohio Department of Insurance, the state's insurance regulator, and we work in partnership with RecoveryOhio, the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, the Ohio Department of Medicaid, the Ohio Department of Administrative Services, and the U.S. Department of Labor.

Provides information and counseling regarding Medicare, Medicare Supplement Insurance, Medicare Advantage Plans, long-term care insurance, Medicaid, and other health insurance matters. Offers an information line to help people understand, compare and sign-up for the Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Benefit and the Low Income Subsidy. Works with beneficiaries to resolve Medicare Part D problems. Also helps those who are already receiving Medicare Part D benefits and want to select a different plan for the next calendar year. Offers volunteers who will meet with seniors one-on-one.
