Provides a Christian-based re-entry program that starts with intensive pastoral counseling in the prison. Provides social skill-training and bible-study activities during incarceration. The Youth in Leadership (YiL) School Mentoring Program pairs high school students with at-risk elementary students for a one-on-one mentoring relationship. All match meetings occur on school grounds, and are planned and supervised by Southeast Ohio Youth Mentoring (SEOYM) staff members. Curriculum focuses on nutrition, physical activity, and forming positive relationships with peers and adults.

Man-Up (MAN UP MENTORING) | First Glance

Offers a program for adolescent males and young men to spend time with consistent volunteers who are there to encourage and help participants. During programming times young men get to participate in dodge ball, basketball, working on projects, and other activities. A meal is served.

Resident Opportunities For Self Sufficiency (ROSS) | Zanesville Metropolitan Housing Authority

The FSS program is designed to provide families with support and guidance to gain or maintain financial independence. FSS is an opportunity for you to improve your personal financial situation FSS will put cash into a special savings account (called an escrow account) to reward you if you increase earned income and successfully complete the program. As your earned income increases, so does the amount that FSS deposits into the escrow account for you each month. FSS clients have earned upon completion amounts ranging from $500 to $12,000. FSS provides case management support to help participants achieve goals related to employment, education, finances or even home ownership. Your FSS Case Manager will work with you and your family to set short and long-term goals. We will identify together steps to take to achieve those goals. Your Case Manager will provide you with the guidance, resources and support you need to move forward towards self-sufficiency.

Parent Mentor Program - Keeping P.A.C.E. | Licking County Educational Service Center

Parent Mentors provide free support and resources to families of children with disabilities and school staff members. Parent Mentors typically work within designated school districts or Educational Service Center areas. Parent Mentors can provide information and resources for: - Improving student success, especially in literacy; - Planning transitions from preschool to school and from high school and beyond; - Understanding the rights and responsibilities of families and students. Parent Mentors also can: - Attend individualized education program (IEP) meetings and other meetings at the request of families or staff members; - Host information sessions for families and staff members; - Connect families, schools and communities by providing links to local services and organizations that support students with disabilities; - Provide information about federal, state and local special education laws and policies; - Share updated information about special education, such as timelines and deadlines, eligibility processes, informed consent, prior written notice and other requirements.

Provides fully furnished, temporary housing (up to 1 year) for men out of incarceration. Single and double bedroom apartments with furniture, beds, linens, and dishes are available. Also provides food, clothing, and job coaching assistance.

Single Father Mentoring Program | Fathers And Sons Of Northeast Ohio

Offers a Single Father Mentoring Program for men who are involved in the case plan of the local children's protective services organization. Participants report to a mentor at least twice a week to get help focusing on their goals and documenting their process. Mentors utilize a collective case management approach by working with faith based, government and social services agencies that are involved in the clients' support system.
