Parents bring youth who are experiencing issues on Friday at 8pm. Parents are required to stay for a 2 hour Accountability Program. Youth stays till 5am Saturday morning.

Provides intensive counseling services to families who are experiencing stress. Counseling may include anger management, conflict resolution, stress/anxiety management, and self esteem improvement. The program supports children and adolescents in coping with mental health diagnoses and help parents to understand and manage their child’s emotional and behavioral problems. Communication skills training provided to both the parents and children.

Program supports families through educational, therapeutic, and preventative services designed to enhance family strengths, to increase family functioning, to prevent abuse, neglect, and dependency, and to reduce the number of out-of-home placements of children. Program provides transitional housing for homeless families (some single women that meet the eligibility requirements) for a period up to two years. Provides a plan of action that is developed with each participant that will include case management, supportive services and a network of community services.

Family Development Unit provides and oversees direct, in-home and group services for families including Adult Mentoring Programs, Family Counseling, Parenting Education, and Family Preservation Programs. These services are made available to families who have lost custody to the agency, or who are at risk of losing custody of their child(ren) due to child abuse/neglect issues.
