Offers financial assistance to Vietnam Veterans from any U.S. military Service branches who are injured from combat. Assistance includes: - Housing Grants: provides modifications, repairs, and adaptive home updates. - Family Support Grants: offers financial assistance for rent or mortgage. - Medical Care Grants: offers financial assistance to pay expenses not covered by insurance or VA. - Transportation Grants: provides adaptive vehicle or modifications to existing vehicle and vehicle repairs.

Provides funding to ease everyday financial burdens for individuals actively receiving treatment for cancer who live in Summit County and/or are being treated in Summit County. Funding amount varies based on breast cancer stage ($500 for earlier stage 0-3 and $750 for stage 4 metastatic breast cancer). HOPWA assists Equitas Health clients and any HIV positive clients in paying rent, mortgage, electric, gas and water bills to prevent homelessness or interruption of utility service in an emergency situation. Case management services can include: budgeting, counseling, education, referrals to resources, advocacy, and transportation.
