Care for most hospice patients is provided in their homes. However, Genesis Hospice Care also offers a seven-bed inpatient facility known as the Morrison House. Morrison House is a comfortable and home-like environment staffed around-the-clock with nurses, patient care technicians and volunteers. Social workers and chaplains are also available as needed. Families are welcome to visit their loved one at the Morrison House anytime of the day or night. The facility includes a family kitchen, large family room for gatherings, a reflection room for those quiet moments and private patio gardens. Morrison House is a non-smoking facility.

The newly refreshed 7 bed care center is designed for patients needing symptom management and provides: - 24-hour care by trained hospice professional staff - Private rooms that encourage visitation - Accommodation for family overnight stays - Whirlpool bath with lift - Family kitchen - Family living room - Quiet, homelike atmosphere.

On the Ohio's Hospice American Pride website, community members can enter their own story or stories about loved ones and upload photos of Veterans to honor their lives and service. The stories are searchable by name on the website and on the moving commemoration kiosk at the Ohio's Hospice of Dayton Hospice House.
