Provides minor home repairs for those who would otherwise not be able to do it themselves. Services vary, but generally helps with yard work, snow shoveling, and small repairs such as: porch painting, fixing or replacing door locks and handles; replacing broken screen doors or window panes; installing smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and changing batteries; making minor repairs on stair treads; replacing carpet threshold strips; and replacing furnace filters.

Provides minor home repairs to plumbing, electrical and heating units, may also include wheelchair ramp and accessibility accommodations.

Assists individuals and families to remain in their homes and live independently in a safe and sound environment whos roofs current conditions in which water is or has a high probability of leaking into the interior of the home due to disrepiar or deterioration of the roof system. Types of repairs include but are not limited to chimneys, coverings, sheathing, rafters, flashings, vents, structural members, soffits, fascia, gutters and downspouts. Proper ventilation of the structure to prevent condensation of moisture shall be considered a necessary condition of repair. Funds may also be used for health, and safety work including but not limited to installing smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, in accordance with City housing standards.

Provides a loan and contracting for home repair projects needed to maintain home ownership. Exterior projects include but are not limited to roof, windows, siding, concrete repair, rails, painting, and other health and safety needs. Internal repairs include health and wellness repairs, major mechanical repairs, and safety concerns as well as some accessibility repairs. Code violations and insurance cancellation notices are also repaired. We do not work on cosmetic or emergency repairs.
