Medicaid Buy-In for Workers with Disabilities (MBIWD) is an Ohio Medicaid program that provides health care coverage to working Ohioans with disabilities. The board can help the individual select which waiver is right for them and can help the client locate service providers who can accept the waiver.

Provide assistance with location of non-custodial parents, paternity establishment, establishment and enforcement of child support orders, establishment and enforcement of medical support orders, review and modification of support orders, request other states to enforce an Ohio order of support for parents who live-out-of-state, collecting and disbursing child support payments, and termination of Support Orders.

Home and community-based waivers are programs of in-home and community care that help Ohio Medicaid consumers remain at home instead of being in a nursing home, hospital or facility for people with mental retardation and/or developmental disabilities.

Serves Lucas County residents who are/have been diagnosed with a serious and persistent mental illness, a diagnosed chronic condition, or who are active on the solid organ or soft tissue transplant waiting list may be eligible for the Specialized Recovery Services (SRS) program.
